First the American People have spoken Barack Obama is our President and my Commander-in-Chief. I will respect the office and follow my oath.
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. We live in the greatest country this planet has ever seen. We are no less great with President Obama. Our system works and he was elected President. This is not DU we don’t cry over spilt milk. The elections over lets get on with it. Know what I see happing over the next four years. Assault weapons ban: Not going to happen, at least not at once. If the Democrats were to do this, they would lose the House and the Senate in 2010 and under the current Supreme Court would probably be struck down. What will happen? They are going to bring the pot to a boil slowly. First ammunition sales will have to go through a dealer, with possibly a background check. Then a ban on high capacity magazines. Then the final solution serial numbered bullets. They are going to hit us ammunition not guns, because we have the right to bear arms. It does not state specifically we have the right to ammunition. Is it implied? Yes in my opinion, but will it be interrupted that way? I don’t know. The other point I would like to make with this post is we refer to certain groups as anti-gun. We are missing the main point these groups are not anti-gun they are anti-equality. Look who has a FFL in Washington DC, the Brady campaign. They can have guns it just the undesirables, you and me, can’t be trusted with them. Gun control has been and always will be an elitist thing. This is were we need to attack. Personally I believe that Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and President Obama will right their own political epitaphs. President Obama will treat the citizens of the United States just like is brother and Aunt. We have already seen this in the unpaid campaign workers. For the next four years hang on it is going to a be a wild ride, but we will survive and we will still be free. |
