| Ever get Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis? Did it clear up with treatment and were you able to return to wearing contacts? I just was diagnosed with this today. |
| Never had it, but I have heard of it. It will go away after a couple months but you will have to cease wearing contacts during that time. I used to get infections and had all kinds of issues until I switched to Focus Dailies. No more cleaning solutions, storage cases, or other paraphernalia. I wear them once and throw them away. Money well spent IMO. |

I'm going back to the optometrist tomorrow to try a different brand of monthly replacement ones before I pull the trigger on my next year's supply.
I'm probably going to go with monthly replacements, and buy a box of daily replacement ones as a supplement for when I go camping or whatever. That way I don't have to fuck with cleaning contacts out in the middle of nowhere and have fresh, clean, sterile contacts ready to go. Never had serious problems with contacts, but I will say that these daily ones are extremely comfortable. Very thin, too. |

I had something similar that was caused by an allergy to the contacts themselves. I had to switch to glasses for a long time, i want to say i chose to go without contacts from 8th grade through 10th because of it, I have been trouble free for almost 20 years now... |
