Yesterday's purchase.

Beretta 92FS Compact.  First range trip was today and went well with no hiccups!  Love the gun!

For the Glock and 1911 snobs, I have one of each...yes, one of each...I don't make $87mil a year like everyone else here.

Thanks for the years of entertainment, fellas!

Have you had a chance to carry it yet? Good looking gun!

You got the compact instead of the full sized.

Whatever.  Just kidding.  Sorta.

Nice. I'm not familiar with them, what is the button above the trigger guard on the right side?

Congrats, I don't have the compact but have the 92FS and 92FS Centurions.

Love 'em

Unfortunately, not yet.  Holster has been ordered, but is a 2-3 week turnaround.  As you can imagine, not a huge selection of IWB Kydex for this model.

Take down button.  Push in on the right, and it unlocks the lever on the left side of the frame.  Rotate the lever down and slide comes off.

Watch Lethal Weapon 4 with Jet Li for some bad ass Beretta disassembly action!

ETA:  They still don't know how he did that...

I know how that goes. My EDC is a sig 2022, it was hard to find a decent IWB for that too.

What did you end up going with?  I went with Theis Holsters.  Never heard of him before, but he had really good reviews/feedback on the Beretta forum.  It's basically a Crossbreed-type.

I ended up ordering from Ozark holsters. He will make one for just about anything. I think I ended up finding them in the Sig forum as well.

Thanks!

It's pretty much the same size as a Glock 19, though probably a little wider in the grip.  I'm going to get some VZ grips later on to slim it down, even though it feels nice right now.  A Wilson Combat safety is on the list for mods, which removes the right side lever on the safety.

I'm hoping this one prints a little less than the G19 on me.  The sharp 90 degree corners of the Glock's slide print badly on me, so hoping the more rounded edges on the Beretta will help.  I dropped it in an IWB that I have (doesn't quite fit) that at least gave me a glimpse of this issue, and so far it looks good.

I like the size of that. They took just enough of the excess off the 92 to make it really packable.

Like a Glock 19 isn't really much smaller than a 17. But damn it sure makes a big difference at least to me.

Yep.  The 19 feels great in my hand, but either way from that 17/26 and it's just not right.
