The GF and I have been looking for a family sedan. We looked at a used Saturn Aura XE, Hyundai Sonata, and Ford Fusion.
Does anyone here have one? How do you like it? Sorry, no Camry or Accord for us - I know they're great cars, but we're trying to find a car with less than 30K for around 15K. Must be a V6 too. No way a Toyota or Honda would fall in that category. Thanks |

We have a 2008 for the wife. She LOVES it!!!
The Synch is a nice feature. Also the 4 cyl we test drove got great mileage but was very underpowered. The 6 cyl has plenty of power and was actually MUCH quieter then the 4cyl. She also gets mid to high 20's in terms of mileage. |
| My buddy is an engineer at Ford. He said if Ford/Lincoln/Mercury told him he could pick any card in the lineup and drive away with it, he'd pick the Fusion. The warranty numbers and such are all so good on it, he'd feel confident it would run great for a long time to come. |

Oil changes and flat tires is about all. |

Not sure you can find a low-mileage V6 Fusion for less than $15K...
By all accounts, they're excellent cars. The long-term reliability is still an unknown. Personally, I won't buy anything until it's been in production for at least 4-5 years (particularly if it's a domestic model) - which is why I'd be looking at the Sonata first. |
