My dad's first plane ride was in a trimotor in 1929.  He was 10 years old.

A 36 year career as a fighter pilot followed.

Yup.   Saw it over down town about 1230.   Roughly same time I saw it last week.  Been flying around Bakersfield all week.  Not sure if doing training touch and goes at Meadows or what.

SLOWER THAN SHIT...

Saw it over down town on thurs and friday and felt I could run to the airport before it got there.

I flew on one in 1972 at Lake Erie and it crashed weeks later. Just seen where they are restoring it in Michigan. I was 5 years old at the time.
