So, I got stuck on a website that listed foreclosed homes....and I found a 6 bed/3 bath house for $108. Not $108k, just $108. What does everybody know about these homes? Is it worth looking into for $14.95 or should I skip it?

Well, as I am fond of saying:

If it's too good to be true - it's ALWAYS true.

$108 for a house like that??? It must be in the ghetto, next to the jail, with a caved roof...it's probably been declared 'uninhabitable' by the city too

It won't cost just $108, there's some creative pricing going on. Most of the time if the price looks likea monthly payment that's what it is, or it's a starting bid in an auction.

I looked into foreclosures when I was shopping for a house and in the end they pretty much always sold for more or less market.

The really cheap ones are easy to fix up because you'll be exposed to so much meth you won't need to sleep.

My company buys houses and property from county auctions. Go to your county property records sight and see if the house has any liens. That's probably why it's so cheap. You buy the house but are stuck with paying off all the crediters the other guy left behind.
