I just got back from the scene. The shooter is still alive after being shot seven times by two of my fellow officers. One of them, Sgt Munley, was hit just prior to engaging him but managed to put him down. She is reported as being out of surgery and stable. The death toll and number of wounded continue to climb. Please take a moment and say a prayer for Sgt Munley and the other wounded. God bless the United States of America, our Soldiers and our fellow Police Officers.

P.S. I'm not an active duty Soldier anymore. I'm a Dept of the Army Civilian Police Officer.

Our thoughts and prayers are will all! My family and I wish to express our deepest and most sincere sympathies to the families of those murdered in cold blood and all those injured.

It strikes my heart very deeply that our brave selflessly sacrifice their lives on foreign soil, only to come under attack at home...at the hands of some of their own senseless brothers in uniform.

Most appalling is the disdain and disrespect our military's Commander-in-Chief displayed for our fallen brothers, their families and the injured where he took almost five full minutes at a conference he was speaking at to address this serious attack, making sure he spent ample time to accept his applause from his admirers and worshipers; where he took ample time thanking the members of his special interest groups for all they do...placing our brave troops and news of their murder and attack at Ft. Hood only secondary to his self admiration and Messiah like image his adorers’ see him as.

Janet Napalitano has already displayed her own disdain for our military and veterans by her DHS memo which referred to our brave veterans as prime recruits for domestic terror. It just so happens that she is speaking on that very issue today over seas. This senseless assassination of our soldiers and serious injuries upon many others is just the ammunition this administration, DHS and Eric Holder needs in order to strengthen their own attack on our Second Amendment and law abiding citizens, including against our brave veterans and their Constitutional rights.

No word has been brought up that one of the murderers is an Islamic man, only that he was an Army Major at Ft. Hood. What gets me is this administration will openly and verbally make ridiculous and disrespectful statements such as Napalitano did in her memo, but refuse to profile in a case like this. This is not the first time a radical Islamic person threatened and attacked our heroes, nor the first time a radical Muslim was a US Military member.

Forgive me for ranting, I realize this probably is neither the time nor place to rant on that, but this Obama administration and their utter disrespect for our military, their families and law abiding citizens just turns my stomach! And he made it perfectly clear by the time it took him to address this crisis.

He should have immediately stopped his worshiping crowd's applause for him and immediately offered his condolences...but he remained true to his dishonorable command for our brave and took care of what is MOST important to him.

Our thoughts, prayers and full support goes out to all who were injured and murdered, and for their loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers also for all of our military men and women and their families everywhere.

May God protect them and grant them courage and comfort you all in this difficult time.

06NOV09;
A lot of people are asking why didn't anyone see this coming? It could be for a million different reasons, but speaking to three active duty family members, our military members have to be very careful about profiling...the same goes for law enforcement and civilians these days.

What gets me is if someone see's something very questionable with another and reports it, they have to first worry if they'll be viewed as profiling the other, then they have to worry about every other law which changes by the miinute...only then can our troops and law enforcement members be concerned about defending themselves and countless others.

The great Sheriff Joe Arpaio is just such a law enforcement official who is acting within both State and Federal Constitutions, but is now ordered by our own government to stop pulling over any person who "LOOKS" questionable simply because they are "suspicious" and because they "look" Mexican.

Is that a good thing, well, yes and no; Yes in the case that as a nation of immigrants ourselves, we should each respect people of every color and religion, we don't want racism and bigotry to be the judge of rules and laws...

but NO in the case of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, ICE' and the Border Patrol's, including our military... as these men and woman are people of integrity and honor, sworn to uphold the Constitution and to protect American citizens, while placing their own lives on the line.

While I'll agree that bigotry, racism and profiling exists and that is wrong, for the most part... profiling is a necessity along the Mexican border as drug cartels, violent crimes, drug flow into the border States and mass-Illegal immigration by millions of Mexicans is a 24/7 fight and its obvious to anyone with common sense and a half a brain (Larasa and ACLU excluded) that the Sheriff, the border agents and ICE have no choice but to use profiling to do their job safely and within the Constitutional laws of the State and the Fed, the stakes are just that high;

but... we've allowed political correctness through special interest groups, their lobbyists and illegal immigrants to rewrite, even violating our Constitution, and our law makers have attempted to strip away the very tool which helps protect Americans.

So, now, according to our government and all their wisdom, Sheriff Joe and every law enforcement agent are required to stop pulling over vehicles merely because the people in the vehicle look like Mexicans, again, a decent thing in principle, but the law hand cuffs our law enforcement as when most violent crime and illegal drugs flows like torent river along the borders. I believe the Sheriff, ICE, Border agents, other law enforcement agencies and even Jim Gilchrist's Minuteman Project have enough honor and integrity to know the difference between bigotry and responsible law enforcement practices.

The same goes for our military. They're expected to watch for anything or anyone suspicious...yet have to worry about being prosecuted for racial, ethnic or religious profiling, even when there is obvious justification to profile.

According to news reports, some reasons why this coward murdered 13, and injured more than 30 of his own Army brothers and a civilian officer was because some had "allegedly" made religious bigoted comments and harrassed the Islamic murderer, if true, then prossecution of the troops in question would've been justified, but murdering them was nothing more than a terrorist act, as well as treason, thus he should be charged with such by a MILITARY Tribunal...NOT in civilian courts as the Islam favoring Obama has ordered terrorists and combatants to recieve Constitutional rights as only US Citizens are entitled to.

What was very questionable however were the anti-American/pro-Islam crazy statements which he allegedly made over the recent year in particular. We'll have to wait for the investigation to be complete to know the real story, even then we may not know it all...because 13 of the alleged witnesses to this creep and his life style, his statements made, his relationships he kept and his writings are all dead now.

IF he survives his wounds, will he himself be charged with profiling or racism and bigotry as a Muslim? I doubt it very much. Unfortunately there remains a double standard withiin our government.

The Obama administration is literally taking our military war fighters and forcing them to be police officers who are required to read Miranda rights to the enemy on the battle field...that is an outrage and I know this affects our forces a great deal, but where is the outrage of the American people for this...and for the 'ol double standards?

May God grant the survivors, and all the family members of the victims peace and comfort in this difficult time. May He protect our troops always.

I believe our troops are now placed in damned if you-damned if you don't position...in the name of Political correctness.

I know this is probably wrong to say, because i know a few decent Sunni Muslims, but any time I hear a Muslim shout Allah Akbar, it makes me cringe and reach for my .45 Auto.

06NOV09; Fox News is reporting another mass shooting in Orlando as I type this, reports say 8 injured (trauma condition), possibly TWO dead PER ORLANDO FIRE RESCUE/FoxNews, NO CONFIRMATION YET. This FOR SURE will give Obama, Holder, Napalitano and Bloomberg more justification to go after law abiding gun owners and our second amendment.

Our prayers go out to all
