Hey, could we have a stickied thread for the gangs records? Kinda like the moa all day challenge?
Im not sure we need "proof" but maybe a video if someone calls bullshit? Maybe do the top 5 lifters for the big 3 and any other lift the group wants? I dont think we need weight classes. There are no prizes. I know im not quite ready to start bragging about my current max numbers but give me a few months |

Squat: 525 lbs Front Squat: 315 lbs DL: 585 lbs Bench: 325 lbs LOL Incline Bench: 315 lbs OHP: 205 lbs x 3 Jerk: about 300 strokes per min for 2.5 min There were a couple of big guys on GD that posted up big numbers a while back, one said somewhere around 800 DL and an impressive Squat as well. |

I just don't max that often, except for the oly lifts. I pick a program and follow it and max when it tells me to. I ran the Newport marathon in 3:40 in like 2006 I think

Dead: 565 Bench: N/A (415*) OHP: N/A (275*) BW @ 225 *I can no longer do barbell bench or overhead. I probably need surgery but, since I can still use dumbbells and have been able to maintain the same strength/size with dumbbells that I had when I could barbell bench, I've been holding off. OHP is straight fucked. I have barely do 35lb db's without pain, but again, I've been able to keep size with laterals and upright rows, so I'll wait till something gives.

All of this was in August pre son being born. I've worked out maybe 10x since he was born 8/4 so no clue what it is now. Bench 315x3 Dead 395 Squat 250 for reps of 10 OHP 150 reps of 10 Not impressive but I only started hitting it really hard in February. |

Most progress was done in the last 5 though. I'm now the "runt" in my group of workout partners. They push me hard and it's made a world of difference. |

It took me 8 months to recover from a double supraspinatus injury, and we are not sure yet that I will avoid surgery when all is said and done. It has taken me a while to get even nearly back to where I was before I got injured, and you don't realize just how little you can do in the gym until you fuck your shoulders up. Put up a 245# OHP today and it was a struggle. Before I got injured I was able to 5-rep it. I have soreness that constantly comes and goes in both shoulders and come-and-go numbness in my hands. Doc says even though I don't need surgery that it may be permanent. And when it is in full-swing, I have trouble even laying on my back and getting comfortable sleeping. God forbid I roll onto one or the other and sleep on it for any period of time.
