I just F disked C:   and got the System of my choice to load but my Norton 2002 will not
load ,I know there are Free Anti Viris loads out there!  Anybody care to direct me to a good

I have been using Avast for several years. It provide excellent protection with minimal system slow down.

Thank God.   Pretty much any other antivirus product made is better than Norton.

Yup....Norton has sucked since its 2003 version.

Avast has been very successful in catching everything that the net has thrown my way. I have never had anything get past it.

I hope it works for everyone else too.

AVG used to be awesome but when they went to v7(?) it became a resource hog and I stopped using it.  I then started using a free-to-me version of Symantec Endpoint Protection, and since they upped the net protection in an update it is also chewing me up.  Wouldn't particularly recommend either unless other people have had different experiences.
