Well I just had a nice Magpul order all ready and placed and then got hit with some unexpected expenses . The item I was most excited about getting was their Art of the Tactical carbine vol 1. I had to cancel the order.  I've been trying to get organized and really focus with practicing objectively. The goal was to get some exercises/techniques I could practice at the range and become more efficient. Anyone have some links of some drills or good training footage I could use that won't cost me anything. Would appreciate it.

dryfiring is cheap

practicing reloading to develop muscle memory is cheap

practicing moving and keeping the sight picture stead is cheap

practicing transitions is cheap

practicing shooting positions is cheap

practicing malfunction clearing is cheap (and use snap caps please)

weight lifting/running/excercise is cheap and just as important as your shooting skills

getting your first aid and CPR certifications is also very cheap (if not free) and is just a smart thing to have

get into shape. it will help lower your resting hear rate. this improves accuracy.
the women also like to see a in shape guy, so you are killing 2 birds with one stone.
running shoes cost what 5-6 magpull mags would.
but will give you a lot more use and benefit

That's not what i was getting at. I have a Dillon and enough components to last me for "awhile." What I was looking for was a good source of training drills (of the tactical nature) that would be similar to the magpul training videos. I throw the weight around and run every day,  I'm in the best shape of my life(physical conditioning is solid). I have a full gym in my basement with a squat rack,  pull-up  bars, bike, lat pull-down, bench, etc. I'm in there more than I'm on the range.

I was in Lawrence for the NC game AND the championship. I was on the news up in one of the trees with a bottle of johnnie walker yelling at the top of my lungs. No fights or anything, everyone was
elated. One of the best times I've ever had.

Hell yeah. Are you in the north east area? If so, what range do you shoot at? I'm at CCGC over in Topeka. I got permission to use my 9mm SBR on the combat range and am ready to start doing some dynamic shit on that motherfucker.

I live in Overland Park - the drive sucks.  I shoot all over - private land we have access to down in La Cygne, I shoot at Golden Valley in Clinton MO (going there this Sunday, actually), I shoot at Pigeon Hill in StJoe...basically wherever I can shoot.

Well if you ever make it to Topeka and want to do some shooting just PM me and you can come shoot at my range. I can have one guest at a time, just have to pay $10 for a pass, no time limit. We have a 300m high power, 3 pistol ranges, smallbore/blackpowder, and skeet/trap. I just shoot on the pistol and highpower tho.
