Authorities say a semitrailer that rolled on its side
on in northeastern Colorado was split in two by another truck headed
down the highway.

That was all over the news this morning.  I was looking at the trailer wondering how it got cut in two so nicely...then the FOX 31 helicopter panned back and you could see the hole puncher further down in the ditch.

in russia they would duct tape the trailer and keep it moving

Had a similar accident on that Canadian TV show.  Highway to hell or something like that.

Amazing that a trailer could be so cleanly cut in half.

The sides of some semi trailers are made of vertical sections of sheet metal approximately 24" wide which are riveted together. It looks like this trailer separated at a joint.
