ok so im in the range shooting my AR15 and i was just dumping the ammo i fast as i could. Then i come out and get 3 people asking me if i had converted my gun to FA or had a 2 stage trigger. i was like WTF? i had to get more ammo and let one of them shoot just to show them. The one guy was like "shit thats fast" "we all thought it was FA fire" All i did was shoulder the gun alittle loose and have at it.

Ever happen to any of you??

They were probably ATF.

I work at this range, these were coworkers. one of them was our Class3 guy. He was the most concerned. thinking i had a illegal MG. Maybe my rifle is just a factory freak but i love it. DPMS

my RR m4 does that, but it does have all dpms internals.

i love dpms triggers, mine are all light and crisp, with little to no work to them.

What does a 2 stage trigger have to do with it?

I'll bet they think "two-stage" means it fires on the pull and release of the trigger.

I was at an outdoor range a few months ago. I was shooting my semi-auto Colt Tactical Carbine from a sandbag rest at 200 yard 10" metal plates. I was firing very fast aimed shots. I would equate it to about a 150 round per minute cyclic rate. I fired a 30 round mag like this. When I finished the 30 round mag, the owner of the range came over to my table and without asking me, just picked up my AR and inspected it. I'm like "what are you looking for?". He responds "It's sounded like you have an automatic there." I tell him it's a semi-auto. Then he gives me a lecture that  "one-day"  when I learn to slow down, I might hit something. I'm like "yeah ok, I just hit the plate 30 out of 30 times. That's not good enough for ya?"  Without saying anything, he huffed and walked away.
