I don't own the gun but I was contracted to design and fabricate a few gun mounts for the company that makes the guns. I was invited to come along for a short range session.

Wait, why didnt Will and the Sons of Guns guys get that job?    He could have modified a Lafeyette mount.

Edit:  And having his hands on a mini-gun would have spawned a new "game changer".

Will looks at the mini-gun on the work bench and says "you know these things are the penultimate machine gun, it just doesnt get any better than this for spewing hate and discontent in the direction of your worst enemy".  Then Will pauses, and you can see his eyes dart around the bench as he thinks for a moment.  "Guys mini-guns have been around for years, even going back to the orignal Gatling guns," as Will starts rubbing the barrels of the mini-gun "I was thinking, the mini-gun is awsome because the barrels spin and it has a high rate of fire due to the electronic motor".  Will pauses to slap Chris on the back of his head as Chris is sticking his tounge down Stephanies throat and then continues  "But I think we can make it better, what if we took 4 mini-guns and mounted them on a motorized ring that we then mounted so that the mini-guns all fired in the same direction as the ring was spun by an electric motor?"  Chris gets as excited as a little girl and yells "like the spinning rims on my Olds!"  Will says "exactly, we're going to make a Gatling-Gatling gun, oh and it will have a smoke launcher too."

Will, This post is date/time stamped for royalties.  Cha-ching.

The way the system works it stops firing as soon as you release the firing mechanism, but then you have 5 barrels with stripped rounds chambered the gun ejects those rounds with the brass and links. The guy let me go through the brass and pick out all the unfired rounds. I almost filled the door pocket of my truck.

Unless you have the feed clutch that stops feeding the belt when the trigger is released.

yep awesome. guy at knob creek had not 1, but 2 minis. he would rip off a 15-30 second burst every so often and even the guns with 50's, Vickers, 1919's, MG42's all stopped and admired the lead rain.
