Member slowmethinks (Joe) and his family got some bad news on the first of this month. Their 20 month old daughter, Emily, had been hospitalized for a few days to treat what the docs thought was anemia. But on the morning of June 1st test results came back, she was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctor's acted fast, getting her in for her first round of chemo later that afternoon. If you still want to support Joe, his wife, Stacey, Emily, and her older brother, Ben, the GoFundMe listed below is still active.
The T-shirts  RAFFLE DETAILS Ticket sales ended July 15th. Drawing will be the 23rd. The grand prize in the CWAR Against Cancer Raffle will be a CWAR. There will be other prizes, possibly other complete rifles, lots of gear and parts. Tier 1 were $25. Tier 2 were $10. A Tier 2 ticket gets you entered into the drawings for the Tier 2 stuff. A Tier 1 ticket gets you entered into both pools. First up we'll draw winners for all of the Tier 2 prizes. Once Tier 2 drawings are complete, all Tier 1 tickets will be placed back in the pool and drawings will be held for Tier 1 prizes. Yes, Tier 1 tickets could possibly win twice. SHIPPING/DELIVERY All firearms will have to go to an FFL of the winner's choosing. We will cover shipping costs. Transfer fees are the responsibility of the winner. For deployed military/international travelers, should you win something we will hold it for you until your return if you so choose. Or we can ship it to someone you trust. Obviously most of this stuff is going to be ITAR regulated, so no, we won't be shipping anything out of country. For those of you in ban states, we'll work with you to make it work somehow. SPONSORS PRIZES Prize list is subject to minor changes (mainly additions) up until the drawing Grand Prize through Prize 14 are Tier 1, the remainder are Tier 2

I would just like to say, from me and the rest of my family, we really appreciate all the love, support, and prayers that we have received.
I've never faced anything so difficult my life. And in her very short life of 20 months, I know for certain that she hasn't either. Fortunately for her, she's so young she probably won't remember this when she's older. But the worst thing in the world is knowing that your baby girl has cancer and watching her get stuck by needles and being pumped full of poison. She's going to be fine, I know this as she's a fighter and is incredibly strong. It's just going to be a very long and hard Road for her. It's going to be 6 to 8 months of weekly chemo treatments and the entire thing lasting a total of 2 years. 
Anyways, I just want to say thank you for all of this. I'm sort of at a loss for words and I'm not exactly a Wordsmith. But I will try to update this thread as things move along. She just had her third dose of chemo today. She hasn't wanted to play with any toys or get up and walk for a few days now. But she still gets little bursts here and there where she wants to talk and smile and giggle. It brightens my day. This was from earlier today while she was laying on the couch in her hospital room with her mommy getting her chemo.

as a father and soon to be grandfather I cannot begin to imagine what you are your family are dealing with. Your daughter is a beautiful little girl... someday you can dig this thread up in the archive and show here how big her extended family is.  |

She is a beautiful little girl.
I have little girls. I can't really say too much as my screen is a little fuzzy knowing that she has to go through that. Just breaks my heart, but I am glad you report that the docs say she will get better. ETA: $25 with total almost $5400 |
