And in other news, I saw an item that made me think "Gee, that's probably not quite legal." But I want it anyway.
Some wiseass made a complete Mark III Sten gun into a LAMP. Buttplate welded to a steel plate. Standing vertically. Bulb socket and lamp shade attached to the barrel. The action appeared to be functional and not compliant with BATFE requirements for demilling a non-registered machinegun. 400 bucks takes it. Cute as hell. I want it. But it's not worth the possible penalties.

Gun show people need to realize if they're not selling every gun they have at the last few shows, their prices are way too high.
After my buddies report from the Ft. Worth show, sounds like the fools still don't understand. The place was wall to wall yet the prices are high and nobody but the fools are buying. You have the option of making money or not. I don't get it. These guys are going to sit on inventory instead of selling off at a reasonable price point. |

I have seen the same firearms on the same dealers tables for sale at high prices for years at the gun shows here. They seem to think if they buy a firearm at $400, and sell it at $800 15 years later, they scored.
