| Here in Toronto it was so bad, I had too escape to the bomb shelter, for the first time since the end of the cold war. Next year I will make plans to be at the cottage for the entire week! What do you think would happen if we had heterosexual day, don't we real man have pride too?. We could have stripper floats, lap dance exhibits, Porn stars, power tool demos and of course Gun shows and demo shoots. What do you think the politically correct crowd would do then? |

What a wonderful display of intolerance. I'm not gay, but I do have gay friends, and they're all very nice people. I don't think any of them would participate in something like [i]that[/i], but what the heck is wrong with being gay? As far as the original post, I can't find any reference to any gay parades "hijacking" the 4th of July. And what of all of those battles? AFAIK, Valley Forge was part of a war to gain independance against the British, Gettysburg about slavery, WWI France because of the Zimmerman Telegram, Iwo Jima to stop Hitler and Imperial Japan, Chosin Resivor, Heartbreak Ridge, Hamburger Hill and Khe San against the commies, Desert Storm against Saddam, and now the Middle East against terrorism. WTF does any of that have to do with gays?? Pretty sure that gays didn't start any of those wars, and I'm just as sure that some gays died in defense of our nation. Enemies from within, indeed.
