Figured I'd ask the GD crowd as some of you smoke but here it goes. I have a tupperdor set up and have a Xikar hygrometer in there and quite a few 65% Boveda packs. Now the humidity is right where it should be at 64/65% humidity but the temp has been hovering between 70 degrees to 72 degrees. I can't do too much about it as it's a desktop set up. As long as the humidity stays around 64 to 65 does the temp play any kind of part?

Its been a while but temperature is also very important to keep low.  From my personal experience if the temperature get to high it will hatch cigar beetles.  I had moved my humidor from the basement were it was nice and cool. I place it upstairs during the summer to get to them easier.  It was in direct sun light.  The temp inside got very warm. Next thing I know i lose half of my cigars due to those damn beetles.
