Any suggestions for gifts for my GF of 5 months? She is 17 and I'm 18. I axed her once why she never wears jewelry and she said she only wears it when she dresses up..so that may be out of the picture

I was thinking about one of these

Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm at a loss. Thanks ARF!

What's the age of consent in Washington?

Just asking because it may influence the answers a bit.

Build a Bear is antigun.  I don't know if that would influence anyone's purchase choice, just an FYI.  They kick some profits to the Brady bunch.

Not trying to be rude, but would you give your girl friend a retarted child for a present?

A cat or dog, like a child, is life altering comitment, make sure it is what you both want.

At only 5 months I wouldn't waste anymore money on her.  Maybe some perfume and dinner.

That's nice. But I WANT to make her happy. and one way to do that is by surprising her with something nice.

She loves the 10/22 but it just would seem... unromantic at best to get her a gun lol
She is not a sports or cheerleading person. She likes... ME!

got my fiance this:

while i, too don't recommend spending that kind of money on someone you've known for such a short period of time, one benefit is it lets you get away with a couple of crappy gifts for the next couple of occasions. i.e. buy her something nice for her birthday and you can get away with cheap earings and a card for christmas, small box of chocolates and a card for valentine's day, etc.

she doesn't do much
School, work, and spends all her spare time with me. shes kinda just moved out of a bad slump and is starting over. We spend all of our time together. Doing anything from shooting to ice skating, to just sitting watching movies. Other than that she does'nt have alot of hobbies.

They're also creepy as hell. Especially the one in the mall that is eternally stirring the box o' buildabear fluff-guts.  Anti-gun is the last nail in the coffin; I hate those         f*%king things.

Wow, well at her age the best gift you can give her is your time.  Maybe plan a special date and give her a gift basket from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
