My GF has been trying to get a teaching job in the area for the past 2.5yrs. The job market is obviously tight for teachers around here. She finally has an interview for a small school district that she has been coaching and subing in the whole time. She put herself through school with almost no help from mommy and daddy including working as a waitress while putting in 10-12 hr. days student teaching. She does not really know anyone like the daughters of the superintendant, or principal that I always had in my classes. She has done it the hard way and I have been there to watch and be the shoulder that is cryed upon. She may hang it up and try looking for another line of work if she cant find her own classroom this fall. Please pray for her, as she really needs this. |
