OK....., my topic of discussion being I THINK (do you smell it, I'm thinking) that despite all thats said here, there, and everywhere......that it is ""almost"" impossiable to train your legs to much. One day, squatting, next running, next a upper body day, but your walking too, next back to leg work kinda-sorta. You get my drift. You walk every day. Granted this does not TEAR up your muscle tissue like a "HARD legs only" day when your knees are a knocking to keep you upright, but this is my personal opinion. My workouts have always been for fun ie. selfcompetition, increase #'s weightwise goals/strength and endurance. Not much else except to exhaust myself for a better nights rest. I really do not think you can train your legs to much if you get 1 nights rest afterward and use proper form. I never used roids. I know the term hypertrophy. 3 FLAME SUIT's ON ! |

I think that I understand your point, but my hesitation with agreeing stems from a fear of over working not (only) the thigh and leg, but also the more delicate structures like the knees and ankles and feet and hips. If you'd like to think of the "rest" days as "(re)building" days, then it may help to rationalize what could otherwise seem like laziness. How often are the legs neglected in those who work for appearance? To often, I think, and the asymmetry and top heaviness lacks the balance in development that I think is so important. Sounds like you haven't that problem. My approach, and often my natural tendency, is towards moderation. You may have no problems with your method. Just "listen" to your body, eh? Take care, IMHO |
