Every song on that album is awesome.  But I love this song more than all of them because it seems to be about America, the good and the bad.  And it it doesn't bitch or moralize, it just says that's the way it is.

Sweet Child is the greatest song in the history of songs.  It's also the greatest thing in the history of history.  /thread.

I've watched a lot of live videos on youtube and Axl's voice live is not all that great.  That being said, Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusion I and II are some of the best albums of all time, not just the best in that time period.  Just great, no-nonsense rock and roll.

Paradise City is tops in my book. Sweet Child O Mine is great as well.

A couple weekends ago I went to Slash/Myles Kennedy in STL. It was the 26th anniversary of Appetite For Destruction. They played Welcome to the Jungle. It was awesome. Slash generally doesn't do that song live.

Other greats...... Patience, November Rain, .... I really can't separate most of the songs.

Appetite is easily in the top 5 greatest albums of all time. I think had they created one album out of the two Use Your Illusions instead of making two albums we would feel the same about the best of Use Your Illusions as a whole.

Slash is the premier guitarist of this generation of music, and by this generation I mean since he started. No one else consistently produces great music that holds true to his roots yet still evolves.
