  This is miss Dixie , she is 3 years old and was taking to the vet to be euthanized cause her owners other dog didn’t like her, so the vet tried to get a hold of Mark and when they couldn’t they reached out to me !! I have her at Pendelton shelter in Kentucky to get her out of harms way !! But this sweet face needs help! She is playful and young and the shelter is giving her anxiety ! She is fully vetted and fixed , she is good with cats but we would rather her go to a home with no dogs , her sister beat her up pretty bad and I am worried she may be triggered to other dogs, like PTSD. She knows basic commands and is house trained , she just wants to have a soft bed to lay on and a good belly rub ! If you are interested in Dixie please contact me or email us!! |

| Unfortunately I am not sure, I have not actually seen her with a dog , I had a friend go to the shelter and meet her. They said she was unbelievably sweet and friendly, and she was non-reactive to the dogs on the other side of the kennels but I cannot say with complete certainty that she is good or bad with other dogs. I just would not be comfortable sending to a house with other dogs unless they were aware of her past and ready to handle if things went side wise . |
