This ?

If ya can't do that,I suggest rolling a half-dollar in and out of your fingers until they are loose enough.

Think C bar chord moved down 1 fret or an A chord in the first position moved up 2 frets.

B sucks and F was hard for me for some reason but the only solution is practice and more practice. If it was too easy everyone would do it and then how would us guitar players get laid?

tell me where to put each finger.

I can't read music and I only know some basic chords.

I always played it as an A fingered with middle and ring finger moved up 2 frets and then with index finger hit first string first fret - only strum the 4 strings you're holding down.

Other option that sounded ok on a fast change situation was to use the index finger across the fourth frets of the first four strings.  I forget what that is actually called but it sounds ok most times.

Best bet is to exercise your fingers EXCESSIVELY and keep them limber.  I've got arthritis setting in so I don't play much at all anymore.

Go here - the numbers refer to which finger to use to fret each note.

or get a chord book.

I cannot get my fingers to do any of those positions.  I feel like I have sausage hands.  They are muting and muffling all the damn  strings.

What is wrong with me.  I want to bash my guitar against the wall.

It takes lots of practice, nothing with guitar comes overnight, especially the flexibility & strength in your  pinky finger. Give it time and practice a lot.
