All to often here on the AR-15 website we hear negative things about various companies, many of which deserve the "bad press". This time however, I have some good news to pass on about a company that I do business with. [url]www.Galls.com[/url] I purchased a Streamlight Ultrastinger flashlight from them on Feb. 28th 2002. After about 6 months of service the light developed a short in the switch. I had not filled out the warranty card or anything. I returned it to Galls not knowing if they would cover it or not......and I received a replacement light no questions asked. I have been very happy with their service in the past.... but this is the first time I have had to return anything to them... and needless to say I am happy. They may not be the cheapest on the net, but knowing they back their products is enough for me to pay the few dollars extra. |

I purchased a new duty holster from them a few months ago. The order shipped fast but there was one problem when it arrived.....there was only the carton the holster was supposed to come in, but no holster! LOL, how this could have been shipped this way I will never know. I can remember digging around in the styrofoam peanuts screaming "Where the *&^# is my holster"! But when I called them back, they immediately dropped my holster in the mail. This time I got both holster and package. I was a little mad because of the screw up, but since they treated me fairly, I will buy from them again. BTW, if anyone lives close to enough to stop by there during their Saturday showroom sales, you can find some real bargins. They do this in Lexington anyway, and I guess they do this at other outlets as well (if they have other outlets). |

Watch Gall's prices carefully. 90% of their merchandice is marked at MSRP so when you think it is on sale it is only being sold at market value. When I worked EMS Gall's was my last resort, and I live close enough to drive down and back in one day, I'm a Fayette Mall regular at Christmas. Jake |
| If you like good deals, I have found a company in Maryland called Interstate Supply Company that has duty gear and other items at much better prices than Gall's. I am going to place a test order sometime and if I like the service I receive, I may switch to them for my needs. Gall's prices has become ridiculous over the past few years. They don't list a website in their catalog, but their number is 800-274-6050. |
