Your other hand. Or find a small woman who can do it for you.

Well, it's really only the eight and last round that requires any force. Just use both thumbs to snap/roll the cartridge into the clip.
And start earlier next time. [:D]

Isn't that why people have kids?  To load clips and mags for them?

I've always wondered if there is a reloading tool also....

Guess I know the answer now...

Believe it or not, I know an older National Match M1 shooter that made a clip loading tool.

It looks like an old "knife" switch.
The wooden base has a "box" that holds the clip, with the top exposed.  He drops rounds into the clip, and uses the wooden lever or knife switch to press the last round down into place.

Take your operating rod and bolt out of your rifle, insert empty clip load from top as any rifle, when clip full hit clip ejector out comes loaded clip, repeat process!

Dont know if it will work, but sounds right!

Edited to say that sounds crazy,as all you would have to do is cock the rifle take out gas plug put in dowel rod cut just the right length, put gas plug back then load empty clips as discribed!

There are a few clip loading tools still around and one comes on the market periodically.  One will cost you several thousand dollars.
