Was just checking it out. Where? SHOT/CA LE dealer? Yup. Thank you. That was important information. Why? Really? Seen that new grip on several different Glocks at a local non-LE shelf in California a few months back. Was there a Gen 3 transitional? I understand the approval list very well and absolutely hate the idea of the approval list. But I don't keep tabs on everything Glock does. What I saw on the shelves I would assume were Gen 4 because of the 60 grit sandpaper texture. Have also seen them at a different shop in Ventura California as well. |

The CA-Approved "list" has unintended fortunate consequences for some Glock buyers. The CA version of the Glock 21SF requires non-ambi mag release and Glock rail. Glock fubared the ambidextrous mag release, and the picatinny rail doesnt work well in my holsters. I was somehow lucky enough to find a CA-type in Texas.

I saw one today too. Beside the recoil spring, they changed the mag release and the grip stripling is different than the RTF frame. They come with 3 mags and it looked liked they changed the mags too. The grip also feels different. they changed the mags to allow an ambi mag release, was told you can use old mags in new gun or was it new mags in old gun, cant remember, but anyways the new ones have the indent on both sides is the recoil spring really that different? |

looks like the HK spring, does it "feel/perform" differently or is it just another non-problem they tried to fix... I guess is what I'm asking Wonder if it has anything to do with some Glocks being more prone to limp wristing when shooting Glocks that have a tactical light installed? |

On the mag releases, they are REVERSIBLE... NOT ambidextrous. Look up the difference.
Gen4 mags will work in older guns. Older mags will work in Gen4 guns only if the mag release has NOT been reversed. I'm not usually a dupe nazi, in fact I hate dupe nazis, but fuck... this shit has been rehashed hundreds of times in GD already... |

Only time will tell if it actually does. |
