Who was he? How did he acquire such renown for his favored chicken dinner? This mystery makes me feel like historians have failed us.

See the movie, Red Cliff. General Tso is a leading figure in that movie. It's based on the Chinese story, The Three Kingdoms. It's a classic that every Chinese kid knows (much like us knowing about Washington crossing the Delaware and killing the Germans on Christmas  ).
I brought back a three volume set of that book but never got to reading it. I have to sit down and read it. Some of the strategy described in it was used by the Commies to defeat the Nationalists. |

| It's come and gone. I think my eyes were far too greedy for my stomach and my stubborn nature would not allow me to quit when delicious chicken was still on the plate. I think it was eggrolls that really did me in. I'm afraid I can only give thanks once again to General Tso and bow out of this thread to spend the remainder of the night in some kind of digestion coma. |
