Anyone remember hosting a site on Geocities back in the 90s? They are now closed. This is a sad day in WWW history. They were the host I first used to learn HTML coding. Story

We had a web design class back in HS in the 90s where everyone had to make a geocities page, and a decent one for a decent grade.

There was another one that was even more simple that before geocities. I am trying to remember the name. I had a few sites that I made on there.

No, that wasn't it. Damn, it is really bugging me now. It was so incredibly simple. You had a menu that you used to add text/pictures/etc... I don't even think I used html on there. I remember getting a geocities site to do html.

I still have a free Tripod webpage, and I haven't been able to login for like 5 years because I forgot the password and the email
I signed up with hasn't existed for about 7 years...

NO JOKE haha.. never seen so many sites using so many "under constructions" images and animated gifs. Heck there have been some on there that have still been under construction since 1998!!
