We live close to Breakaway Park in Cedar Park, TX and we are always see planes coming in. Have a couple of kids who are always super excited when a plane is coming in for a landing so I was thinking of taking them to one of the two FBO's at Georgetown, and possibly seeing if anyone there could give them a quick look around an airplane.

Anyone familiar with this airport, and there are two FBO's there so not sure which would be best for just kind of showing up and asking if anyone wants to entertain a couple kids with aviation stuff for a few minutes.

Thanks!

The terminal (under the tower) at Georgetown is a great spot to take them. There's a hot coffee pot and big windows.

Or drive over to Burnet.  The CAF museum is there and they may let the kids crawl through the Gooney bird.

Thanks.

We visited the Georgetown terminal, and ended up touring the http://www.gtujet.com hangars. These were all privately owned so no 'inside the aircraft' tours but we had a blast, and they were very welcoming.

I fly out of Genesis. Nicer rentals. Pilots choice has a B25 and they have always been nice to me. I've never been in GTUjet but it looks nice!
