Well connected politically. Funded by sources outside the state even as early as the primaries when she ran against a fellow Dem female candidate.
Repubs will need a good voter turnout and they'll be OK. If Repubs are complacent, she could pull it off. I'm seeing an effort from Dems to get out the vote among young new voters as well as their base, but I'm not seeing a blue wave starting to surge. The MAGAnaugh surge might be enough for Kemp supporters. |

Do NOT believe the polls. They are designed to lower conservative turnout. The media are in the tank for the left and this is just one of the ways that they try to win. Be sure and talk this up with your friends and tell them that they need to be sure and vote or else: taxes and crime will go up, essential services will degrade, the quality of education will decline and illegal immigration will increase. Tell them that the majority of money going into the Abrams campaign is from out of state and that the people of San Francisco think she's wonderful. If you want a San Francisco east, she's your gal. Also tell them that if a pollster contacts them to be sure and tell them how wonderful Abrams is and how you can't wait to vote for her and all the little other commies on the ballot too View Quote I also suspect that conservatives tend to be underrepresented in polling because they don’t want to engage with pollsters. |

They say this about every race, and the Democrat always loses by 6%
They don't poll in the rural areas, only in Atlanta, Macon, and Augusta. Georgia is much bigger than Atlanta, Macon, and Augusta. I still vote, tho. |

That Ossoff guy was supposed to beat Karen Handel too. She ended up winning by a little over 3%.
I don't think it's as close as the polls say but we don't need to be complacent and get out and vote. |

Georgia, and the whole south was solid democrat from right after civil war till about 25 years ago. Every election cycle they alwsys proclaim Georgia going democrat. For sure. Due to changing demographics. Then the Republicans win and they shut up.....on til the next election. When they proudly proclaim Georgia going democrat. For sure........

I fucking despise that some asshole Democrat is running on a socialist and anti-gun ticket in this great state and that stupid liberal pieces of shit will vote for that, especially because of skin color alone. Please Georgia, don't fuck this up!
Edit: There will be three votes for Kemp in this household. |

Not buying it, granted I’m in a very conservative area but have Kemp signs everywhere. Outside of Atlanta proper and Macon, Adams isn’t going to do well. None the less, both my wife and I will vote for Kemp.

Polls exist only to attempt to influence voting behavior.
If she wins...holy hell. But I only give her a 25% chance. |

University professor offered extra credit for students who attended Abrams’ event
An associate professor at Clayton State University acknowledged she made a mistake by offering students extra credit if they attended a campaign event for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, Channel 2 Action News reported. The rally took place at the university Tuesday morning, and it also hosted U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren.
An email, obtained by Channel 2, was sent by Andrea Allen, an associate professor of criminal justice, which said: “Although I never offer extra credit, I’m making a onetime exception. I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the Abrams campaign along with Senator Warren are visiting campus tomorrow at 10 am in the UC commons. They would like a really big turnout. To help out I’m offering the following opportunity: If you attend, take a selfie of you at the events, and upload a pic to the folder I’m creating in D2L, I’ll add 2 bonus points to your final grade.” View Quote |

If you were gonna manipulate polls to drive turnout, this would be how you would.
If you make the race dead even, you gotta vote, because its so close. A blowout either way, will drive down turnout. High turnout favors dems. |

Stacy Abrams is now demanding that Brian Kemp resign because he has refused her demand that he break Georgia election law.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/10/11/politics/georgia-governor-election-voter-registration-abrams-kemp/index.html Ga law requires names on voter rolls to match the voter's name on their drivers licenses and birth certificates. Seems pretty reasonable to me, but since many black people have names that are more difficult to spell, this is obviously racist. |

Polls are a total lie...there is no way in hell it's tied. Zero Chance...I think the Dem's report it like this, just so people will go out and vote.....instead of showing they don't stand a chance.
