Some of you may know me personally understand that for about the past 5-6 years I would normally wake up around noon or sometimes 1pm.
I worked nights, but once I got home I wasn't sleepy so I would just stay up until 7am or so.

Well, for the past 3 weeks I have been going to the doctors for my bone infection and they have been giving all sorts of weird medicine.
It makes me sleepy at night, so I find myself waking up now around 7-8am.

I forgot how refreshed and good a person feels in the morning air. I sometimes head up into the mountain and eat breakfast with the mountain critters.

I think I am going to keep it up and stay at this schedule.

So, I guess its farewell to the night crew for me...you guys are good company in the early am.

Just thought I would share it with ya....

Yup, I never noticed that until now. I feel much more alive getting up early.

Some people are morning people, some night people. You can get up early but a persons natural tendencies stay with them. If you give yourself a chance, you'll revert back to your 'normal' biological clock.
That's the way it works for me anyways....

ETA: Shouldn't you be in bed?

My favorite is actually waking up to the cold morning air and staying in bed a few more hours.

I hate mornings

I always like blowing off any and all schedules and living on 36-40 hour 'days.' I work so much better when I can stay up 24-28 hours and then sleep for 12. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work too well interfacing with others...

After about 3 months of 24 hour days (14-18 awake, 6-10 sleep) I run down and feel like crap all the time. Then I can't sleep, which always makes things worse.

Talked to a doctor about it, after I hadn't slept for 4 nights in a row. He told me I was strange and should see a psychologist. FTS.

I LOVE absolutely LOVE the pre-dawn and morning  hours in the Fall/Winter.

Something about being in the woods at 6am from Nov. to Jan.  just makes life worth all the BS.

June to Nov. is the exact opposite and I love being in the woods towards dusk.

I guess I just like trees and critters, even though I shoot both  more then most I know.

4am is a great time of the day...hell  all night for that matter!
