[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Getting a Keyboard Failure when booting up?

I have a Dell XPS720 Windows XP SP3 and when it boots up it stalls out at the beginning for about 30 sseconds and then it said Keyboard failure, then it starts right up normally.

Is my BIOS messed up or do I need to reload the keyboard software? I have the logitech G15 gaming keyboard and BIOS A04 from Dell.

Is your keyboard USB?

a key stuck?

bent pins on the end of the cable?

tried another keyboard?

thanks, it is a USB and i reloaded the software, all is well for now
