I got a new laptop and if I cant sell my old desktop (AMD 750, 20 Gig HD, 256 mg RAM if youre interested, pm me [:)]) Im just gonna give it away.

My question is will formatting the C drive be enough to wipe all my old personal info and whatnot off the HD or do I need to do something else?

There are a few programs you can get to effectively wipe the HD. Look for
DOD formatting. We have a Harddrive duplicator that will do DOD formats.

you could download PGP for free then use its disk wipe feature and it is all free and one of the highst rated ways to keep others from seeing your stuff.
