Hey guys,
I recently got a Sony A230 with the standard 18-55 lens it comes with. I am looking to pick up a few more lenses for it along with some filters. The only filters I can seem to find are the cheap ass $17 ones on amazon, or $80 a piece ones. Any ideas on where to find good prices on lenses and for some filters? I am probably looking for a wide angle and also a portrait one. Thanks in advance, Bill H. |
you opened a whole new can of worms for yourself! 
I started with an A-200 and the kit lens... and 5 lenses and a flash and tons of other misc later, I'm still buying more camera stuff. Now I have a Nikon D-90 and a couple lenses. One kind of shooting leads to another... LOL That is a great little camera, start playing with it. It will take some nice pictures. Here's the old girl.

| A word on filters, you really get what you pay for in quality and durability. Your filters will last for longer than your camera if you don’t abuse them and they will never really become obsolete. I know a lot of old timers that are still using their filters from years ago that they bought for their film cameras on the DSLR. |
