That is exactly why I cannot stand the Redskins.  Growing up in the DC area with countless undying optimistic people yelling out loud "I we are going to the Super Bowl" or "We are unstoppable" after winning two games against suck teams.  OMG the Gibbs messiah is here! We shall now win 15 superbowls in one year!! Who cares if that is not possible. We are the MFing Redskins and we kick ass! You would think being surrounded by that kind of devotion would inspire me.  All it did was piss me off and make me hate the Redskins.

Since opening week I've been trying to get my 16 month old daughter to sing the Redskins fight song. So far we got "hail" I'm still convinced we'll make the playoffs as a wild card. Still gotta work the kinks out but we showed some great poise with that come from behind win.

I'm not sure what's more annoying.  The dumbasses like you described, or the people who say they like the Redskins, but never have anything positive to say.  If my dad is watching a game, and the other team does anything positive (even if the skins are up by a couple touchdowns), he'll say something dumb like "looks like they're trying to blow it." . . . and he does it constantly
