An example may be: An When you mix water and flour...it makes BRXXD. It's just this sort of crazy locking thing I cannot understand. I know people act like wierdo's and stuff...but I have seen valid discussions that resulted in Locks??? Just trying to understand the reasoning behind the situation...I know that the COC basically affords the site the ability to justify anything...however there has to be some rhyme to the reason. |

Read the Conduct Code, post within it. It's simple. For those who are slow-- "Looters are bad" is okay. "Looters should be shot on sight" stupid, as it's murder in most jurisdiction, but still okay. "I saw black people on TV shamelessly looting" is okay. "All black people are looters" will get you banned. It's about the generalizing of the innocent along with the scum. Another example-- "I saw video of two cops in uniform stealing shoes from Wal-Mart--they are a disgrace" is perfectly fine. "All the damned cops in New Orleans are as bad as the other trash there, because I saw two of them looting" will get you banned. If in doubt, don't post it. The world will not come to an end if every random thought that crosses your mind doesn't get posted. Trust me on this. Again, if you have to wonder if you will get in trouble for posting something, this would be a VERY bad time to test the waters. We have had an extremely trying 48 hours, and patience has been exhausted. Tread lightly.
