I need to buy a good bottle of Cognac for my boss.

Any recommendations between $100-$200?

Does it have to be cognac?  Can it be armangac?

A very good Cognac made in the historical method is called Kelt. Kelt comes in three price and attention points.  (All are very good) The entry is priced at approx. $35 to $45 the middle $95 to $110 and Premier Kelt comes in at $800 to $1,100.

I have had all three and the middle is rated only a couple % less than Cognacs priced in at $300 to $1000 more!

No, just a thank-you token for a free weekend trip to South Beach 2 weeks ago from me and a couple co-workers.

Grand Marnier is good and it's made from cognacs.

most recognizeable would be hennessey XO.  should run you $80-$100 in a nice decanter.

It's great stuff, but it's more than a blend of cognac.  It's a triple sec.

I second Kelt, it's a pretty good XO.  A bottle of it can be had online for less than $200.
