I never have been a guy to use cologne, but recently I have been contemplating the idea and am wondering what--if any--cologne works for you, or more importantly if women notice/compliment you on it. Thanks, ARndog |

P-f-f-f-t! The lot of you! Try Angel (for) Men. Try Jean Paul Gaulthier. Try Thierry Mulger. Sorry, but they are all French. Trust me, IF you were French wouldn't you wish to change the way you smelled? Well, they do a very good job of it! The main thing is to go by the Men's Cologne Counter and test out each one of these, and others, on your skin! Not on a card or something. And allow a little time to pass to see how the cologne reacts to your skin. Only then can you make an informed judgment. Have a Nordstroms in your area? They are very easy to deal with, indeed! And when you buy that cologne, ask the young lady for some more samples! At Nordstroms, they give you quite a few samples that you can put to good use! Oh, and BTW, I have tried out that trio on a bevy of young (twentysomething) ladies, all to very nice reviews. Eric The(Horn-Dog,ButAVeryNiceSmellingHorn-Dog)Hun

The only stuff I ever use or like. www.perfumebay.com/herb912635.html |
As my aftershave I use my own blend of about 8 parts witch hazel to 2 parts "Cool Spice" Skin Bracer. But I'm out of the undiluted "Cool Spice", so when this batch is gone, I'll switch the the blue variety (whatever it's called). I've also used Bay Rum in my blend, but Briskette doesn't like it very much. |

My first choice would be 'Eau de Hun', but that's not widely available. Angel, Jean Paul Gaulthier (the bottles alone are collectibles!), and....that's about it. I buy Angel for all my young ladies. There's a very good reason for this, you know! Eric The(SoTheyDon'tDetectAnother'sScent)Hun

The cultural minute of the day: The eau de cologne was invented by an italian in germany (cologne is the french name of Koln in germany). The nephew of the inventor later came to paris. Napoleon I was enjoying eau de cologne and especially drinking it. [/end of the cultural minute] |
SWEAT! ![]() Seriously - a clean, but sweaty lady is (pardon the pun) HOT!!!! Clean means good hygiene. A dusty, dirty gal after a days hunting or work is fine by me too! Wish my wife would hurry up and get home (if I can talk her into it). |
Hardly a day passes that I do not learn something from you Ericthe-I educated em all-hun so why should this day be any different? pattymcn *ETA* 'Eau de Hun' I haven't heard of that one before!

I agree. However I hunt for a living and I get a little tired of the "Whew ee is that me?" pattymcn ps good luck with the wife! |
+1 I also am currently wearing Kenneth Cole "Black" Burberry "Touch" Escada Other Favorites Polo "Blue" & "Romance" CK "Eternity" Clinique "Happy" (Hey, I like the girls who look like they are wearing only lab coats and stockings.) All of this to keep the GF happy SBG |
Sure it will -- just like a nice fluffy apron with a ruffle around it will entice the ladies!
