Can't believe I'm the first to post about it. I've DL'd it and am trying it out. Anybody else? www.google.com/chrome BTW this post was made with chrome. So far it's working nicely. |
Firefox has been able to do that forever. Good luck with the spyware watching you! ![]() ETA: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=spyware+in+google+chrome&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq= returns this:
This is just Google trying to make up for the lost ground over people refusing to install Google Desktop and letting it log, record, and monitor every single file on your PC. |

you do realize that searching spyware will bring up all the results for anti spyware software that works with chrome and it's spyware protection results also right? Kind of a misleading post of yours. But hey I'm not saying you have to use it. I just find it to be new and interesting. I couldn't find where to setup firefox to open multi windows on startup... |
www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=how+to+open+multiple+tabs+in+firefox+on+start&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=how+to+open+multiple+tabs+in+firefox+on+star returns with:

I just downloaded it. It sure loads arfcom pages faster than FF and it consumes a lot fewer resources. I'll give it a few more days before I make my final decision. So far though, I'm pretty impressed. It could sure use a built in adblocker though. Ad Blocker Plus works super well on FF, hopefully those guys have something similar is in the works for Chrome. Also, I really like the UI. Very minimalist. |
What the hell are you searching that you would be scared of in the first place. As far as the browser goes it is fine. If I wasn't using firefox I would definitely switch. But I see nothing that firefox isn't doing currently. It does seem to be a fast browser. I am sure in coming months once there are updates and even more improvements made, I will switch browsers. Until then firefox is just fine with me. |
Have you tried the text box resizer? Hit reply to this thread and notice the yellow box around the text input area. You can drag the bottom right portion of the box and make it as big as you like! FINALLY! |
That is nice. I am sure there are a few features that I haven't seen yet. |
From the Chrome EULA:
|
Your point? Yes, if you have something to hide or are doing something illegal you probably shouldn't use Chrome. Other than that who cares? If they want to spend the time of reviewing my search history, that it is their waste. |
They are changing the EULA. Link |
You really don't mind being wiretapped all the time do you? I don't do anything illegal, but I don't need someone looking over my damn shoulder all the time either. |

That's what I can't seem to get Google Chrome to do. I love that about both Firefox and Opera. I would love Chrome to be able to do the same (and maybe it is, and I just don't know where to turn that feature on). It's already so much leaner and faster; that would just be the shiznit on the cake. |
Mine sometimes 404s when I post. Very annoying. I've found that if I hit refresh (and then hit 'continue' to resubmit), it goes through fine. Still very annoying. ETA: This is the exact error:
