Finally downloaded Chrome to give it a try.  Runs much smoother and faster than Firefox ever did.  So far I have come across just one problem that I couldn't find a solution to anywhere.  While using chrome to surf ebay I can sign in, search, access my account etc.  The only thing I can't do is open up a listing.  the page will partially load with pictures and description but then it just stops.  The icon in the tab shows that it is loading but it isn't actually doing anything.  I can't scroll the page or click anything and half the time I can't exit the tab without killing chrome with the task manager.  I don't remember changing any settings and tried a fresh install.  Any help would be appreciated.

Click the top right button (The three horizontal bars), go to tools, then click on "Report an issue..." After that your only option is to wait... They push out updates all the time and it usually breaks things.

It is working fine for me, so it must be an incompatibility with another program on your computer or something?

Did you install any ad blockers? Depending on how egay is displaying them it may needlessly pause the page while Chrome waits for the request to time out.  Same thing if you use a hosts file ad blcoker.

Just do something else for a bit, the page may load. (I have the same issue with arfcom.  About a third of page loads take 90 seconds of waiting before anything happens.)

You'll want to have more than one browser installed anyway, so just switch to another browser for sites that don't behave.  Or bitch to their tech support department.  Half the time, shit not working is the fault of the dumbass web developer.

OP: does this happen for every single listing, or just some?

I don't think Chrome is your issue if pages are taking 90 seconds to load, shouldn't be your internet speed either... I browse Arfcom all the time from a 3G hotspot and the only time pages take more than 15-30 seconds to load are when there are tons of pictures.

Every listing.  I do have AdBlock installed but disabled it on ebay.

I'd remove it completely just to be sure it isn't your problem.
