I was looking on Google maps today and got to thinking about how much personal info is out there on the net for anyone to find out. I can see a street view and an arial view of my house that show some very clear detail of my property. This has me alittle worried about security. I mean any yahoo can look you and your address and get more real info on your living conditions and property layout. Does this worry anybody else?

Reading is fundamental. What is someone going to gain by seeing an aerial view of your property? Will they see your grow operation? Or your 50 classic cars that you store outside? They could use it to get the lay of the land, but they could get that with topo map. |

Yep. Why do we need that info floating around the net? What better way to plan a home invasion. |

Hell the Pic for my House was taken in the Summer when all the trees are full of vegetation and all you can see is my Driveway and all the trees |

Quoted: Its not like it is anything that they cant see by walking by your house. Seesh. THANK YOU! You guys have your tin foil on too tight...anybody with a ladder or just walking down the street can see all the same stuff that Google Earth/Maps provides... You are also quite high and mighty to think that somebody will use that data to launch an assault on your 1/8 acre "compound"... |
