So I have the Nexus S 4G on Sprint, which is the only phone you can use with Google Wallet for now. I signed up since they were offering $10 on a virtual prepaid card to early adopters. I decided I liked it enough that I added some of my own money to use. I pre-load money into the virtual account, so transactions are not directly coming off my actual credit card.
Anyone else using it? It would be better if more places had the paypass things, but for now it's convenient to wave my phone and walk off. It really seems to blow the cashier's mind. "Did you just use your phone for that?!"

| It's only available on Sprint I believe... I'm on Vz and apparently Vz, ATT, and TMobile have all invested in something called Isis, so it is doubtful I will be able to use Google's version. Isis is vaporware at the moment, but I'm sure Vz will figure out a way to f*ck it up. |

I just Googled "Google wallet" and it seems pretty cool. Looks like it is still in the early stages of development since you can only use one type of credit card with it and have to add money to a Google card, but if it starts to take off I can see them striking up deals with most major credit card companies. I would probably use it once it is a bit more universal. The boarding pass thing is pretty cool too.
Also, in before the "I am not giving Google my info" kooks. |

I was actually surprised to see it is almost entirely encapsulated in the app. I went to find the main website to login to add a credit card like every other google service and discovered you can't. I had to tap it in on my phone. |
