Is anybody else scared by the creatures this movie?

I know, Its kinda silly to be frightened by something as implausible as the creatures in this film, but I've always been scared by these things.

Im only referring to the first one. The second film was just cartoony enough to be enjoyable.

My daughter saw it when she was six now ten years later when it's on cable she says don't even think about it.
I always thought that it would be cool to have one.

The ones in the movie didn't scare me. The commercial for Gremlins 2 scared the fuck out of me. The one with the glasses.
