A chrome 1911?
Id go with a gold toof, and grips made from faux pearl, leather, and something hot pink. And fur. |

I've drawn my pistol twice in self defense. Once it was an attempted carjacking in Philly (HS2000 in the broad daylight down near Lombardy - the punk saw the pistol in my hand and rapidly unassed the area). The other time it was a couple of thuggy types waiting on the roof of a car parking deck when my car was the only one left up there at 2am down near South Street. I had my nickel Series 70 Commander on me and let me tell you - the gentlemen that were about to brace me *all* saw it even in the dimness and ran like roaches. A black pistol like a Glock might not have been noticed and I may have been forced to use it. I was happy for the bright plating at that moment!
