Col. Terri E. Erdag was relieved of command by Brig. Gen. Niel Nelson, the commanding general of Training Command, "due to loss of confidence in her leadership and ability to maintain positive command climate,” said Col. Sean Gibson, a spokesman for Marine Corps Combat Development Command, which oversees Training Command. Nelson’s decision was influenced by the results of a command climate survey performed in early April, Gibson said, but he declined to discuss specifics. ![]() |
