Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin, Hilliard Mail Thefts

DUBLIN, Ohio -

A Columbus man suspected of stealing mail from mailboxes in
the Dublin and Hilliard areas was arrested in a Dublin neighborhood
Monday morning.

On May 8, Dublin police officers received a call from a resident on
Dunabbey Loop advising officers that they had seen a person taking mail
out of mailboxes in the area. The suspect was described as a black
female with light skin driving a two-toned, blue and gray minivan.

Officers located the vehicle and performed a traffic stop on the
Mercury minivan in the area of Tara Hill and Havington Drive at about
9:44 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle, David Lashawn Robinson, 39, gave officers
permission to search the vehicle. According to the police report,
Robinson was dressed as a female.
