It would be cool to have a subscription to firearms.  You choose from pre-made collections or make your own list, then make monthly payments and you get a new gun from the list on a regular basis.  You could choose how many guns a year you want or 1 every other year etc.  Kind of like the CD clubs of yesteryear.  Ooh maybe they would send you a gun every month and you can send it back if you don't want it.

Send it back if you don't want it? As in... let me test this out, wipe down the prints, and send it back.

Brilliant.

Except the gun I have to have today will be old news tomorrow, and seriously, have you met any of us? Gun people are the most impatient sons of bitches you will ever meet. Wait months for my subscription? F no! I want my gun now! Now now now now now now now

Besides the send it back part, that is not a terrible idea. Too bad it only be for the uber rich.

Bet whoever did it would make quite a bit of money before the media found out about it flipped their collective lids claiming the guns go straight to your door and ship with armor piercing boolits.

I would end up paying $XXX a month for a Hi-Point and a P22 once a year.
