Gun World got burned down and rebuilt. It's been around since 1959 -- maybe you've never heard of it, maybe you've seen it and passed it up, or maybe you have read it in the past but don't anymore. The December issue is an all-new redesign. It's got a new look, but most importantly, the content is relevant to what modern gun owners want to read. Plus the Editor is a longtime ARFCOM member (since 2009) and HUGE gun guy.

I still buy a magazine occasionally, but it is usually a car magazine. I know pretty much anything I want to know long before a magazine has time to print it and ship it to the local grocery store.

Oh wait, the front page has "Get in the Game: IDPA Gear" written on it. That tells us exactly the age/demographic for which these magazines are intended.

Must be a generational thing as *I* still sub to two mags: American Handgunner & Popular Photography.

As for Gun World, no "9mm versus .45acp" debate?????

I still read American Rifleman since it comes free with NRA membership.  I love The Armed Citizen section.

Cool...I still read magazines.

Always like another good gun magazine!

OP, are you the editor?

You post so frequently, I could totally see you being a magazine editor...

That was the mag where a lot of the guys I started reading gun mags with seemed to end up--Libourel, Talyor, etc.  Enjoyed it and wish them luck.

Yes I am the Editor, started in May.

lol, why would an editor not post very much?

I used to come on here quite a bit, but haven't really much in recent years. Not the most positive of places.

It's also where a lot of the most respected and well known gun writers got started.
