"gun violence""gun deaths" "human tragedy" and saving lives, what they refuse to say is this— Homicide in America has demographic, geographic, social and economic factors which, if acknowledged and openly discussed, would transform the debate, and place blame where it really belongs: on the causes and people that fuel the violence we hear about (but rarely actually see for ourselves, except on TV "news"). |

So how do we deal with this? Ban black people? I think we should work on educating everyone about guns. Maybe through their desire for them we can pursuade them from choosing a path in life that prevents them from having one. Problem is that if you offer to teach inner city youth about guns and marksmanship all kinds of people start wanting to throw up red flags. Part of the reason why I ended up the way I did was because of my love for marksmanship. Funny thing how education works. We had a problem with AIDS in my home town, so we started a comprehensive program for sexual education in our highschools. Within five years the rate of newly HIV infected patients in the teen age group disappeared and teen pregnancy also went down with it. We just need to stop being sissies about this stuff and educate these kids.
Its pretty obvious the biggest opponents to gun rights are the most ignorant about guns, the shoulder thingy that goes up. If people learned more about them maybe there would be less fear. |

The problem isn't that they don't know how to operate firearms, it's that they don't have anything better to do than join a gang, and their parents don't care because they're drunk/high/not there/already in the gang. |

buffalo has been having a few shootings a week
the keep saying the murder rate is slightly down but it's only due to dumb luck that most of these shooting victims are surviving. if they all died the murder rate would be through the roof I'd love to see stats for buffalo on the number of criminal on criminal shootings vs criminal on innocent person |

No: "Mo' Babiesl Mo' Money!" 4: REAL Education: Not liberal feel-good shit. Writing, Reading and Math. With TOTAL American History and REAL classes on Civics. HomeEc and Technical Classes for those not on College Prep. Anything else, learn on your own fucking time. 4b: Encourage Education towards STRENGTHS: Not all students need to go to college. It does not mean they are dumb. They could be a great mechanic that becomes the next Thomas Edison. Teach usable skills to ALL students. 5: Stop Victim-hood. This is the hardest thing. You can't force people to admit they are acting like shitheads. But to fix the problem, you need to stop encouraging and glorifying crappy thug behavior. 6: Bring back the FAMILY. Encourage the family unit, glorify being respectful of your elders and being part of something greater than yourself. |
