I am going to try to sell my Ruger Mini-14 tomorrow at the Allentown, PA gunshow. Do long arms have to be transfered through an FFL? Do handguns have to be transfered through an FFL? If the Long Gun does not, should I have it transfered anyway to cover my behind, ort do anything else? Thanks.

Handguns must go through an FFl, Long Arms can be sold "face to face" w\o the intervention of an FFL.
Going through an FFL will cover your butt. I would only sell to someone I knew well.
But, I never sell any of my collection.
